4-H COUNCIL MEETING HELD

We had a great 4-H Council Meeting this past Tuesday.  

Officers for the year 2012-2013 were elected.  

The planning for the 4-H Achievement Night had a lot of good ideals and 

the theme was chosen. They also selected a decorating committee and they will 

be meeting on, Monday, June 18^th.  at 7pm at the Extension Office. 
So mark your date July 31^st for Achievement Night with meal being 
served at 6:30pm.

4-H RECORDBOOK

Record books are an important part to maintaining your 4-H project. 

This year, you will enter your Recordbook on line.   

Please submit a hard copy to our office on June 15^th.  by  5pm.

Please go to 4hreports.com to follow the instructions on how to do the 

Recordbook on line. 

AWARDS FOR ACHIEVEMENT NIGHT

In order to compete for county awards or scholarships you need a recordbook.  

Please come by the office if you are eligible for the Bronze, Silver, Gold Awards or

the 4-H Booster Scholarship and pick up forms to complete and turn in with your 

recordbook.

MAJOR SHOW STEER VALIDATION

This year Major Show Steer Validation will be on Wednesday, June 20^th from 

5:00-7:00 pm at the Karnes City Veterinary Hospital.

The exhibitor does not have to be present at validation, but a parent or legal 

guardian must be present to sign the paperwork.  All steers must be validated on 

June 20^th    unless a major emergency arises.
