Food Challenge/Food Show

If you are interest in participating in Food Challenge (Iron Chef Food competition) there will be an organizational meeting this Sunday at 3 pm at the Extension office (new building).  We will go over goals, what the competition entails and when district competition is.


The first practice will be  Wednesday November 9 at the Kenedy Fire Station at 7pm.

If you are interested in participating, please make every effort to attend.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Major Show Sign Up night is November 2 at the Extension Office located in the new annex building.  It will start at 5 pm and last until 7 pm.  If you are interested in participating in Major shows, please make every effort to sign up that night.  You will need social security numbers, quality counts number and certificate.

Major show swine validation is November 22 at the Karnes County Show Barn from 5-7 pm.

Pecans will be delivered December 1 to the Extension office.  Please let your customers know if they have any questions, that they will be delivered shortly after that to them.  Please allow ample time for the Extension office to sort them and your club managers to sort them also.  You will have until December 10 to make any adjustments to your order if anything is wrong.  If you DO NOT meet this deadline, you will be responsible for paying your customer back!
