This is a very necessary meeting. Since no 4-H
Council Officers or 4-H Council
Members showed up for the previous meeting, we
were not able to decide or
vote on anything. We have issues to approve
and the Achievement Night needs
to be planned. We need support for
this from everyone including parents, please.
The fund raiser is done for
the benefits of the 4-Her’s.
If no one is willing to step up and help;
then Achievement Night can not be planned.

Record
books are an important part to maintaining your 4-H project. In order to compete for
county
awards or scholarships you need a recordbook. Please come by the office if you are eligible
for the Bronze, Silver, Gold Awards or the 4-H Booster Scholarship. This year,
you will enter your Recordbook on line.
Please submit a hard copy to our office on June 21st.

line.
Recordbooks
will be due in the County Extension Office, Thursday,
June 21, 2012 by 5
PM.
Deadline
for registration is Monday, June 4th. Please call the office to register

The
District Horse Show will be June 22nd
– June 23rd in Edna
(tentative)
This year Major Show Steer Validation will be on Wednesday, June 20th from
5:00-7:00 pm at the Karnes City Veterinary Hospital.
The exhibitor does not have to be present at
validation, but a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the
paperwork. All steers must be validated
on June 20th unless a major emergency arises.
