anyone who is still interested please tell them to let me know and we can get them signed up!!!!  

The fee for the year is $20 until October 31,2012  then will go up to $25 per child.  

Adult volunteers will not be charged.

PANNA MARIA 4-H CLUB MEETING

 Please note that they will have their first meeting, Monday, September 3^rd 

(Labor Day) at the Panna Maria School Building at 7 pm.

2013 MAJOR SHOWS

 We have been checking on the dates/schedules for the 2013 Major Shows

 and will send out our Fall Newsletter as soon as we get this information.

Monday, August 27th is the last day to purchase tags for 2013 Shows. 

We are looking forward to our New Year Enrollment for 2012-2013.

Commercial Steer Validation for the 2013 Karnes County Youth Show will be held 

on Saturday, August 11^th from 8:00 – 9:00 am at the Karnes County 

Livestock Exchange in Kenedy.   

Your steer will be tagged, weighted and assigned an initial value. 

You can enter two commercial steers per pen.

The commercial steers must be present at validation on 

 August 11^th, 8:00 – 9:00 am.

TAG ORDERS FOR MAJOR SHOW GOATS AND LAMBS 
(Extended Date)

 If you plan on exhibiting goats or lambs at a Major Show in 2013, 

you must have them validated.

You must order your tags no later than Monday, August 27^th and pay for 

your tags when you place your order.  Each validation tag you order will cost 

$10.00 and checks can be made to: Karnes 4-H Club Fund.   

You will not validate your lamb or goat under 4-H or FFA, but the Extension 

is in charge of validation, so you must order your tags through the Extension Office.

Validation for Breeding Sheep will be required this year, please contact the 

Extension Office for information.

Validation of all Major Show Lambs and Goats will be at the Karnes County 

Show Barn in Kenedy, Wednesday, October 17^th, 5 – 7pm.

The 4-H Club meetings for Karnes County are listed as follows:  

 Falls City 4-H, 1^st Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Falls City AG Shop,

 Kenedy 4-H Club, 3^rd Tuesday of the month at 7:15 p.m. at the Kenedy Fire Station.  

 Lonesome Dove 4-H, 2^nd Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Small World Day Care, 

Panna Maria 4-H, 1^st Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Panna Maria Snoga Store.   

Runge 4-H Club, 2^nd Sunday of the month at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

 

We had a great time Achievement Night. 

Our special guest John Schulz was awesome.

At 5:30 pm a Limousine showed up out front and we could sit in the

Limo with John Schulz and take photos.  Also family pictures were taken.

                                        Thanks to all that took part in making this a 

       great night for the  4-Her’s and their families.
