Texas 4-H Congress

 Texas 4-H Congress is your opportunity to see what Congress is like in the real world.  This opportunity gives members the opportunity to serve as house, senate, press corps, or as a lobbyist.  The deadline to apply for a lobbyist or a press corps is April 30.  Karnes County is allowed one (1) House or Senate member.  IF you are interested, please let me know ASAP so we can get the registration process started.  Karnes County 4-H will assist with the registration fee.

Official ages for Texas 4-H Congress are 15 (at the time of the event) to 18 years of age. This is a prestigious event reserved for older 4-H members.  Because of the number of 4-H members allowed to attend, counties should make it a priority to select 4-H members for the House and Senate that have never attended prior.
